Bridal Agreement/ Contract │ Terms & Conditions

 

Bookings: Your appointment date(s) and service(s) will be secured when the signed contract or non-refundable deposit of the bridal price is received. Deposit amount is determined by the artist and is based on the total quote or package price. All bookings for wedding are made on a first-come-first-serve basis. No dates will be guaranteed without either a signed contract or deposit is placed Once you inquire, within 72 hours the date may be given away if contract of deposit is not placed. We recommend all deposits be made within (3) three days to guarantee you bookings. After the three-day period, we will reach out to you and let you know that we would be quoting other brides in the process. Remaining balance of the deposit is due the day of the wedding or can be paid prior to. Prices are subject to change as styling needs change, services are added, and travel distance has been accrued. Prices do not include gratuity. 

Weddings that exceed a quotes price of $500.00 or more will be required to place a 50% deposit. Weddings that are less than $500.00 will be required to place a 30-40% deposit. Again, the deposits are non-refundable- no exceptions. This fee is to guarantee date as Gemma Dyer Hair MUA is in high demand.

Deposits are to hold the date of your wedding. Deposits will be taken off the remaining total on the day of. If you choose to schedule bridal trials for hair, makeup or both, you will be invoiced to pay for these services on the date of appointment. Deposits cannot be used towards bridal trials.

Gemma Dyer Hair MUA accepts cash, check and all major credit cards. The bride will be responsible for the total fee of the purchased package or quote and may permit only one other person to authorize, submit any changed and arrangements for the wedding party. Changes made by anyone other than the individual signing listed on this contract are not allowed and considered invalid. Once deposit is made, no services may be subtracted. If one chooses to subtract a service already deposited for, the deposit will not be returned.

Bridal Trials: Bride is encouraged to have consultation/trial for both hair and makeup prior to the wedding day. If any bridesmaids are the slightest bit unsure of hair and makeup, they are encouraged to have a consultation/trial to ensure satisfaction on the day of the wedding. They can also bring a photo of something they like, and will we do our best to accomplish this. Once service is completed, minor changes to styling/makeup applications may only be made if time permits. The trials are services that are separate from the wedding. Once a stylist or artist schedules your bridal trials and services you for these trials, payment is due upon receipt. Trials are not part of placing a deposit. Once trials are completed and if you choose not to keep the artist/stylist, the amount will not be refunded. Trials are considered services.  Due to COVID-19, travel fee may be required if the stylist/artist comes to your location. 

Delays: Please make sure you arrive to your scheduled time slot within 15 minutes of the appointment. Tardiness results in scheduling and service conflict for you and other clients following your appointment(s). If a wedding party is late for the scheduled service appointment time(s) and notifies of arrival time, the artist(s) may or may not be able to accommodate the new arrival time and the clients services may be reduced; however clients are liable for the original amount.

Minimum Policy: On location services outside of Somersworth, New Hampshire requires a minimum. (Ex: 3+ individuals requesting hair and makeup) Should the services fall below the minimal, a service charge may be enforced. Minimal for traveling is $300.00 worth of services. Excludes travel cost.

Cancellations: All deposit monies must be paid within three (3) days of booking the bridal appointments. Please be aware once the deposit is made, it will not be refunded under any circumstances. Additional services may be added to the contract at any moment if time permits. Please be aware, after placing deposit, no appointments may be reduced. If the stylists/artist agrees on term of change to an attendant appointment, the 30-50% deposit for that single appointment will not be refunded. All cancellations and additional add on services must be submitted in written form. (Email or letter by mail) If you for any reason decide to cancel the artist and stylist due to unforeseen circumstances on your end, the deposit will not be refunded.

COVID-19 (NEW): We're all very aware with what COVID-19 have brought to the wedding world. I am completely understanding. As of now, my current COVID-19 policy is as follows. My deposits are non-refundable when they are placed. However, if your wedding has been cancelled, or you needed to reschedule yourself, we have a few options at hand. 

                   1. The deposit in which you placed to book the wedding can be transferred to a new date or held until a new date is made. If you are                                   forever cancelling and not rescheduling me as your artist, the deposit will not be refunded.

                  2. If you are rescheduling, please reach out to me with your new date. I would need to be given the opportunity to rebook your services.

                       IF I am unavailable, this is where potentially a 50% refund of your deposit will be refunded. The potential 50% refund would be based on                                       timelines. Please allow at least 12 weeks prior to wedding to cancel. Last minute cancellations will not be refunded. 

 

                  3. 100% refunds are only offered if you can find someone to "buy your wedding date". 

Service Location and Requirements: Location on service for the day-or-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the stylists and artists need to complete services. A “set up” table/work area needs to be made available for the artist/stylist at the said location. Ample lighting whether by means of natural light or lamps, is necessary for all services to be performed properly. Seating is also requested as all attendees will be required to be at eye level to the stylist/artist. The Stylist/Artist will arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled time for set up.

Travel/Travel Fee’s: Additional Travel fee’s within 15 Miles Beauvisage Salon and Spa in Somersworth, NH is a standard rate of $50.00 per stylist/artist. There will be an additional travel fee added on to pricing if you are outside a fifteen mile radius from Beauvisage Salon and Spa. If you are requiring stylists and artist to be at your location before 8:00am, there will be an additional ‘early morning’ fee of $120.00. If the stylists has to travel before 7:00am, we may require additional for lodging. Please be aware travel fees are PER artist that it sent to you for this date.

 Airfare and Accommodations: Destination weddings- All cost for travel to booked event, are to be paid for by client. Costs may include but are not limited to: Air fare, hotel, transportation and parking. Travel is to be paid up front. 

Liability: Makeup/Hair artists shall provide services with reasonable care and skill. Artists shall perform the services promptly on the date and time agreed. All makeup brushes, products, hair tools and hair products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every client requiring services. Makeup products used are high quality, hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Any skin conditions and/or allergies are to be reported by the client to the artist prior to application/service. Client(s) agree to release the artist(s) from liability for any and all types of allergic reactions not properly notated by the client.

Payments: The final balance will be due on the day of event as one or multiple payments after service is performed- no exceptions. Acceptable forms of payment at day of event is cash or charge (No Checks). Gratuity is welcomed and very much appreciated. We can always accrue in gratuity options if needed. (Please request with artist)

Special Requirements and suggestions for bride and bridal party:

                ⦁    ​Please Arrive on time to avoid late fees and service conflictions

                ⦁    Hair should be shampooed, dry and product free. Blow drying services will not be available unless short styled blow outs. All styles are done on dried hair unless stylist permitted.

                ⦁    If on location, please have the work area clean with table and chair available. Please have a location, well lit, ready to go area for the arrival of your stylists/artists.

Additional Touch Ups:  Touch ups will be made last minute to anyone who requires. This is limited to: additional hair spraying, lip-gloss, extra blush and fine details. If additional time is needed through out the duration of the ceremony and reception additional costs of $125.00 per hour is required and paid in advance in full amount.
